Spam Call Blocker ("we," "us") exists to get your phone number off the market β so we would never put it back on. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the limits we hold ourselves to.
The information we collect
- Your phone number β for the free scan, for SMS verification, and (for customers) for the number you ask us to protect.
- Contact details β email address for your account, receipts, and results.
- Scan & removal data β where your information appears on data-broker and people-search sites, and the status of our removal requests.
- Payment information β processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). Full card numbers never touch our servers.
- Call-protection metadata β for customers, records needed to screen and block spam calls (such as blocked-number logs).
How we use it
We use your number for exactly two things: to run your scan and to enable your protection (call screening and getting your data removed). We use your email to communicate with you about your account and results. That's it.
NEVER SOLD β and never shared to be sold
We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number or any personal information β to anyone, ever. Selling personal data is the exact harm we protect you from. We share information only with the service providers who help us deliver the product (for example, our payment processor, our SMS provider, and the data brokers we send removal requests to on your behalf), and only to the extent needed to do that job. Those providers are bound by contract and may not sell your data either. Because we have a direct relationship with you and never sell data, we do not operate as a data broker.
SMS verification & consent
When you enter your number for a free scan, we send a one-time verification code by text to confirm the number is yours. By submitting your number you consent to receive that verification message. Message and data rates may apply. Verification texts are transactional and one-time; we do not use them for marketing. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for assistance.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal information β profile, numbers, scan and removal history, and call logs β and direct our service providers to do the same. The only records we retain are those the law requires (such as billing/tax records) and a minimal suppression record proving your deletion, which we disclose to you.
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of your information. You can exercise these in your account or by contacting us, and we honor recognized universal opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) on our website.
Security
We encrypt your information in transit and at rest, restrict access, and require multi-factor authentication for staff. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your data is the whole point of this company.
